Shayna and Kathy talk with Kaitlyn, a Florida based artist, cosplayer, and convention meetup host, who is better known as NerdyNostalgia. Kaitlyn talks about how she got into cosplaying, making the it more accessible to beginners like herself, social media, mental health and, of course, Critical Role. Kaitlyn first caught Shayna's eye when they were both at a convention cosplaying characters from Vox Machina (Critical Role).

Artist and Cosplayer
Kaitlyn L., better known as NerdyNostalgia, is a Florida based artist, cosplayer, and convention meetup host obsessed with in all things Critical Role! Using her rapidly growing platform on Instagram, Kaitlyn not only strives to foster a welcoming community, but to make cosplay more accessible to beginners like her, firmly believing that anything is possible with enough research and an unhinged can-do attitude!
In her off hours as a full time student, she runs a D&D campaign with her friends, continues writing her novel, and works on a number of fan projects, namely: her Keyleth cosplay, which recently surpassed 600 hours of work, and her "Nocturn CMV," a 4-minute long, fully rendered art cinematic following Vax'ildan's story from Critical Role. She plans to complete both projects before the end of 2025.
