Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a celebration of life, death, and family that is typically celebrated in Mexico and other parts of Latin America. Shayna and Kathy are joined by Jose, a Mexican American mental health therapist, and Yessica, a Mexican American student intern studying to become a mental health therapist, as they discuss this holiday.

I've been an intern at my agency for about 10 months now, and it has been a wonderful experience where I’ve gained a lot of knowledge and skills. As a Mexican American, the Day of the Dead holds special significance for me; it’s a beautiful celebration of the lives of those who have passed on. I cherish this cultural tradition deeply.
